Radical feminism group members, radical feminism theorists, radical feminism writers, and other radical feminism adherents adopted the term "radical" feminism as to identifying and changing the root* cause of women's oppression in patriarchal gender relations and institutions. Radical feminism is not related to a radical feminism adherent's degree of militancy. Instead radical feminism group members, radical feminism theorists, radical feminism writers and other radical feminism adherents have been criticized for being too "middle class."
Radical feminism has produced many radical feminism groups since radical feminism and radical feminism ideas began to be disseminated as such through radical feminism's late 1960's and 1970's radical feminism magazine articles, radical feminism pamphlets, radical feminism journals, radical feminism newsletters, radical feminism books, radical feminism speak-outs and conferences.
This revised radical feminism history of the longest active 1969-1977 radical feminism group, New York Radical Feminists, also contains radical feminism reference sources and links to other radical feminism writings. This radical feminism article also provides the locations of hard copy archives of the longest published radical feminism volunteer group publication, the "New York Radical Feminist Newsletter" and other NYRF radical feminism documents. Clicking on "radical feminism" in this file will also lead to New York Radical Feminists radical feminism documents uploaded here on archive.org.
